Cynch-Lok™
Description
When we developed the Cynch-Lok™, we talked to real pole climbers so we could better understand their unique needs and challenges. The result is a device that features effortless adjustment and “cynches” around a pole during a “cut-out.” It allows your crew members to easily hitch-hike poles (move or jump the strap upwards) with a hand position that’s comfortable for them, and moves past obstacles effortlessly. Exterior straps can easily be swapped out in the field depending on pole size, eliminating the need for multiple systems. Cynch-Lok™ also meets important safety requirements: CSA Z259.14 standards for Type A and AB (dry, wet and icy poles) and ASTM F887.
